Youth Volunteering Opportunities

Global Education Derby provides opportunities for volunteering in a variety of ways:

Student Placements GED offer a variety of placements to university students. In the past we have had undergraduate and postgraduate students from Youth and Community Work, Third World Development, Health & Social Work and Politics & Religion from the University of Derby, Leicester DeMontfort University and University of Birmingham. Management Committee GED are always looking for enthusiastic young people aged 18+ to join our man-agement committee. This is a fantastic way to gain managerial experience and also be directly involved with the running of a local charity. This is a challenging but rewarding role and offers strategic experience which looks great on a CV! For more information and to download an application form click here

General Volunteering GED offer general volunteering opportunities such as admin work, library assis-tance and occasionally project specific work such as researching global issues for new GED publications.
