Global youth work

Training for Youth Workers

Global Education Derby provides training to youth workers in global youth work practice and can provide tailor made in-house training for youth work organisations.

Our Introduction to Global Youth Work training course has now been delivered to over 30 youth workers from across the East Midlands. The training gives participants the opportunity to develop understanding of globalisation and global citizenship and the skills to address global issues with young people. Participants also undertake critical analysis of their own personal links to the wider world. Resource packs are provided to each participant  enabling them to promote global youth work practice within their own settings.
